Day 11

I have now stitched on 9 UFO's and had 2 new starts in my journey through the pile of boxes in my sewing room. Yesterday was one of the new starts that came up. I do not know from day to day what I will be stitching. I just grab the next box in the pile. I have now finished the shorter pile and today will stitch on the first box in the bigger pile. Progress is being made.

Till tomorrow.

DAY 10

Good morning all. I am really enjoying my Daily UFO project.

Today's turn was

Mushroom Inn  Randal Spangler HAED.

I had decided to do this one differently and am stitching all of each color on a page before doing the next color.

I really like doing it this way and may do this on more of the UFO's as they come out for attention.

DAY 8 & 9

Didn't get around to posting the next 2 that came up.

Day 8 was my oldest HAED UFO. It is the chart that got me hooked on HAED and I still make progress on it occasionally.

DAY 6

So something funny happened today. When I picked the next box off the stack and opened it ready to start and found that it was not a UFO. So today I had a new start because hey it was in the pile and had all of its bits.

DAILY UFO PROJECT

Sometimes I apparently think too much for my own good. I am going to try an experiment. Recently all of my poor UFO's have been talking to me everytime I enter my craft room. They have been neglected for way to long. So I have come up with a plan. We will see how it works out. I am going to randomly choose 1 UFO every morning and that will be my project for the day. On Thurs and Sat which are my stitching group days I will take Cottage Garden with me since I am working on it as part of a SAL. This way all the UFO's will get some love. Today's lucky winner is Computer Catastrophes HAED Artist Randal Spangler. The last time it was touched was 10/17/14. Bout time to work on it.

Till tomorrow.

SAL UPDATE

Wow. Just realized that I missed the last SAL update. Sorry about that. Really didn't have anything to update at that time. I was flitting from project to project trying to find one that would hold my interest for more that 5 minutes. I was doing a lot of knitting and crocheting in that interval but that doesn't count here. I finally found something that is holding my interest. This is an old, old, old UFO that I started back in 2003. It was charted in Stitcher's World in 2002-2003. There are 6 parts and it was charted for either needlepoint or cross stitch. While I do needlepoint occasionally I decided to do it as cross stitch. It is called Cottage Garden Rug. When I picked it back up after all these years here is what it looked like.

After 3 weeks it now looks like this.

When finished it will look like this.

Hopefully it will continue to hold my interest at least until the next SAL update.

There are a lot of talented people taking part in this SAL. Please go over to their blogs to see all the wonderful things they are stitching.

Till next time.
